Fountain in Świdnica | Poland

Fountain in Świdnica, Poland. The small main square (rynek) in Świdnica is worth a visit

The goal for our day trip to Świdnica was to visit the Church of Peace, part of the UNESCO World Heritage. But as you can’t spend all day visiting a church we made use of the good weather In the Lower Silesian small town.

The Blossom and the Architecture in a picture

The Rynek, polish for market square, is as in most Silesian towns the centre of Świdnica. Remarkable was the variety of blooming flowers. Be it in small fields, hanging from lanterns or like in the foreground in a small hedge. Hence I wanted to capture the blossom together with the architecture and the fountain serves well as a balancing weight in the middle of the hedge and the small green house.
