Le probl\u00e8me, c&#x27;est qu&#x27;il y a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement beaucoup de visiteurs autour de la forteresse qui s&#x27;incrustent dans le cadre de Nico. Du coup, la meilleure p\u00e9riode de l&#x27;ann\u00e9e pour visiter la forteresse de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Baptista, c&#x27;est l&#x27;hiver. Le truc, c&#x27;est de s&#x27;assurer que la m\u00e9t\u00e9o dans cette r\u00e9gion du <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/portfolio\/portugal\/?envira_id=27540&#038;page=1\">Portugal<\/a> est cl\u00e9mente et que la mer n&#x27;est pas trop agit\u00e9e. Ce jour-l\u00e0, en janvier, on a toutefois eu de la chance : la travers\u00e9e en bateau vers les Berlengas a \u00e9t\u00e9 possible et m\u00eame tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le fort de Berlengas appartient \u00e0 la commune de Peniche, dans la r\u00e9gion de l&#x27;Ouest au Portugal. C&#x27;est le roi Manuel Ier qui a ordonn\u00e9 la construction du premier fort en 1502. Au XVIe si\u00e8cle, le site a accueilli l&#x27;ordre des Hi\u00e9ronymites, qui l&#x27;a toutefois abandonn\u00e9 par la suite. Malgr\u00e9 leur isolement id\u00e9al du monde, les moines de Berlengas \u00e9taient constamment harcel\u00e9s par des pirates. La forteresse de Berlengas tomba alors en ruine, jusqu&#x27;au XVIIe si\u00e8cle, o\u00f9 le fort fut reconstruit. Berlengas devint alors un point d\u00e9fensif important pour le Portugal contre les attaques de l&#x27;arm\u00e9e espagnole.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>En 1953, la forteresse des Berlengas a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconstruite, mais dans un autre but\u2026 Aujourd\u2019hui, le fort des Berlengas abrite une auberge. On peut m\u00eame y passer la nuit, apparemment pour seulement 10 euros la nuit ! Malheureusement, cette auberge \u00e9tait ferm\u00e9e pendant l\u2019hiver. Nico et moi nous sommes toutefois demand\u00e9 ce que \u00e7a ferait de rester sur l\u2019\u00eele apr\u00e8s le coucher du soleil. Il n&#x27;y a sans doute qu&#x27;une poign\u00e9e de maisons sur l&#x27;\u00eele en dehors du fort. Dans l&#x27;ensemble, les Berlengas semblent n&#x27;\u00eatre habit\u00e9es que par quelques millions de mouettes.
