Son histoire n&#x27;est donc pas sans rebondissements. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit en 1345, puis enti\u00e8rement reconstruit. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, c&#x27;\u00e9tait le seul pont sur l&#x27;Arno dans la r\u00e9gion \u00e0 ne pas avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9moli par les Allemands en fuite (\u00e9tait-ce une strat\u00e9gie, ou ont-ils eu piti\u00e9 ?). Aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est l\u2019un des symboles de <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/fr\/travel\/toscane\/\">la Toscane<\/a>. \u00c0 quelle influence ce pont doit-il son caract\u00e8re actuel ?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Apparemment, le premier pont \u00e0 cet endroit a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit vers 966. Cependant, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit puis reconstruit au XIVe si\u00e8cle. Le Ponte Vecchio \u00e0 Florence, en <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/fr\/travel\/italie\/\">Italie<\/a>, doit son caract\u00e8re sym\u00e9trique aux architectes de l\u2019ordre dominicain. Certains historiens attribuent cette construction \u00e0 l\u2019amour des dominicains pour les proportions et les chiffres.<\/p>\n<p>Au tout d\u00e9but, le Ponte Vecchio \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/fr\/travel\/florence-italy\/\">Florence<\/a> avait une fonction d\u00e9fensive. Au fil du temps, cependant, les b\u00e2timents sur le pont lui-m\u00eame ont fini par servir aux marchands, qui ont transform\u00e9 les anciens locaux d\u00e9fensifs en salles de march\u00e9. Ces marchands vendaient principalement du poisson et d\u2019autres marchandises \u00e0 l\u2019odeur plut\u00f4t d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able. C\u2019est \u00e0 partir de cette \u00e9poque que le pont a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre son aspect actuel. Les boutiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9am\u00e9nag\u00e9es pour leur nouvelle fonction. Les ateliers des bijoutiers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour ressembler \u00e0 des coffres \u00e0 tr\u00e9sors.<\/p>\n<p>C&#x27;est apr\u00e8s le coucher du soleil \u2013 ou mieux encore, avant le lever du soleil \u2013 que l&#x27;on ressent le mieux ce caract\u00e8re marchand et bijoutier du Ponte Vecchio \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/fr\/travel\/florence-italy\/\">Florence, en Italie<\/a>.
