Elle attire les habitants de la r\u00e9gion, mais aussi les touristes en qu\u00eate de plages de sable fin et d\u00e9sireux de d\u00e9couvrir les mangroves des environs.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Al Khor n&#x27;est toutefois pas seulement une ville touristique. 35 % de l&#x27;agriculture du Qatar se concentre dans ce district. C&#x27;est l\u00e0 que les exploitations agricoles produisent les l\u00e9gumes les plus importants du pays : carottes, pommes de terre, oignons, etc. Et si tu te dis \u00ab qu&#x27;est-ce que \u00e7a a de si sp\u00e9cial ? \u00bb, il faut savoir que le Qatar est principalement d\u00e9sertique et que l&#x27;agriculture y est un v\u00e9ritable art.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Du gaz naturel a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert pr\u00e8s d&#x27;Al Khor en 1970. Un centre de traitement du gaz naturel a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit \u00e0 proximit\u00e9, dans la municipalit\u00e9 de Ras Laffan.
