El objetivo principal de Nico era fotografiar el <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/hdr-photos\/liechtenstein\/vaduz-castle\/\">castillo de Vaduz,<\/a> que domina la ciudad y es la residencia oficial del pr\u00edncipe de Liechtenstein. Luego pasamos por delante de este edificio tan peculiar, que m\u00e1s tarde descubrimos que era la sede del Landtag del Principado de Liechtenstein, tambi\u00e9n conocido com\u00fanmente como Landtag de Liechtenstein: el poder legislativo del Gobierno.<\/p>\n<h2>Liechtenstein: la \u00faltima monarqu\u00eda de Europa<\/h2>\n<p>El Landtag solo tiene 25 miembros elegidos en dos circunscripciones: \u00abOberland\u00bb, con 15 esca\u00f1os, y \u00abUnterland\u00bb, con 10. El objetivo del parlamento, que se elige cada cuatro a\u00f1os, es representar al pueblo de Liechtenstein en una <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Constitutional_monarchy\">monarqu\u00eda constitucional<\/a>.\u00a0 El parlamento se constituy\u00f3 por primera vez en 1808, pero su funci\u00f3n desde el principio se limitaba \u00fanicamente a la aprobaci\u00f3n de los impuestos. No fue hasta la Constituci\u00f3n de 1921 cuando se estableci\u00f3 el concepto de democracia parlamentaria. Desde entonces, los miembros del parlamento solo pueden ser elegidos por los ciudadanos (antes, 3 de los 15 miembros eran elegidos por el Pr\u00edncipe). Tambi\u00e9n cabe destacar que el Parlamento tiene la funci\u00f3n de asesorar al Pr\u00edncipe en el gobierno del pa\u00eds y en la elecci\u00f3n de los jueces.<\/p>\n<p>Liechtenstein es una de las pocas <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monarchy\">monarqu\u00edas<\/a> que quedan en Europa. Cada una de las decisiones del Parlamento debe ser confirmada por el Pr\u00edncipe. El Pr\u00edncipe tambi\u00e9n tiene derecho a revocar a este poder legislativo del Gobierno y, durante siglos, esta simbiosis ha funcionado de alguna manera. Liechtenstein, aunque peque\u00f1o, es tambi\u00e9n un pa\u00eds muy pr\u00f3spero y sigue siendo un lugar tranquilo.<\/p>\n<p>Por cierto, \u00bfte has fijado en el tejado del edificio del Parlamento? Nos pareci\u00f3 curioso que fuera de cristal y que estuviera justo en la colina que hay sobre el castillo, donde se encuentra el pr\u00edncipe.
