Estos elegantes animales pueden soportar las temperaturas extremas del desierto y la falta de agua incluso durante semanas, y son capaces de recorrer varios cientos de kil\u00f3metros al d\u00eda llevando a sus jinetes con valent\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda, aunque los coches han sustituido a los camellos como medio de transporte, estos animales siguen siendo el orgullo de los qatar\u00edes y una importante atracci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica. Normalmente se pueden ver en las dunas del desierto a las afueras de la capital del pa\u00eds. Muchos beduinos ofrecen a los turistas la posibilidad de montarlos y vivir la experiencia de un campamento \u00e1rabe tradicional.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ese d\u00eda, sin embargo, mientras explor\u00e1bamos el centro de Doha, vimos a lo lejos una manada de animales con sus jinetes. Al principio pensamos que quiz\u00e1 fueran caballos, como los que solemos ver en otras ciudades. Pero cuando nos acercamos, vimos que eran&#8230; camellos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Al parecer, era algo poco habitual para los habitantes de la capital de Catar, y muchos de ellos empezaron a reunirse en la calle junto a la zona donde se estaba entrenando a estos animales. Como si posaran para una foto, los jinetes se alinearon para mostrar el excelente adiestramiento de los camellos.
