Es gibt viele Witze und Kontroversen rund um den Pa\u0142ac Kultury i Sztuki (Palast der Kultur und Wissenschaft) in Warschau<\/a>. Dennoch l\u00e4sst sich kaum leugnen, dass er in den letzten Jahrzehnten zu einer Ikone der polnischen Hauptstadt geworden ist.<\/p>\n

Einmal erz\u00e4hlte uns ein Freund aus Warschau eine Geschichte. Stalin fragte einmal alle kommunistischen L\u00e4nder, die unter Russlands \u201eAufsicht\u201c standen, was sie sich von ihm als Geschenk w\u00fcnschen w\u00fcrden \u2013 \u201eein U-Bahn-Netz oder einen Palast?\u201c Alle L\u00e4nder entschieden sich f\u00fcr die U-Bahn, aber Polen w\u00e4hlte den Palast. Bis heute gibt es in ganz Polen nur zwei U-Bahn-Linien in Warschau. Aber zumindest haben sie ihn mit Ehrgeiz gebaut. Der<\/a> 1955 erbaute Pa\u0142ac Kultury i Sztuki<\/a> ist bis heute das f\u00fcnftgr\u00f6\u00dfte Geb\u00e4ude in der Europ\u00e4ischen Union. Und bis zur Errichtung des NTT Docomo Yoyogi-Geb\u00e4udes in Tokio<\/a> war er der h\u00f6chste Uhrturm der Welt.<\/p>\n

Hier befinden sich Theater, Museen, Kinos und vieles mehr. Und im obersten, 30. Stock gibt es eine Terrasse, von der aus man einen Panoramablick auf die Stadt<\/a> genie\u00dfen kann. Manche Warschauer sagen sogar, dass man von dieser Terrasse aus den besten Blick auf die Stadt hat, weil man den Palast selbst nicht sieht ?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
