Byggeriet blev p\u00e5begyndt allerede i det 13. \u00e5rhundrede. I dag huser det Museet for Anvendt Kunst.<\/p>\n<h2>Oprindelsen til det kongelige slot i Poznan<\/h2>\n<p>Opf\u00f8relsen af det kongelige slot i Poznan begyndte i slutningen af det 13. \u00e5rhundrede. Poznan-slottet blev bestilt af Przemysl II, hertug af Piast, som h\u00e5bede at forene de polske lande. Desv\u00e6rre blev Przemys\u0142 II myrdet allerede efter et \u00e5r som konge af Polen, og arbejdet p\u00e5 slottet blev afbrudt. Byggeriet blev f\u00f8rst afsluttet i 1337 af kong Kazimierz Wielki. I de efterf\u00f8lgende \u00e5rhundreder var slottet hjemsted for polske herskere og blev ombygget efter deres behov. Det blev ogs\u00e5 revet ned flere gange som f\u00f8lge af de krige, der fandt sted i Poznan. Den sidste \u00f8del\u00e6ggelse var resultatet af 2. verdenskrig.<\/p>\n<p>En interessant legende knytter sig til det sted, hvor det kongelige slot blev opf\u00f8rt. Poznan var hjemsted for den f\u00f8rste polske hersker, Mieszko I. Denne prins og hans m\u00e6nd blev d\u00f8bt i 966, hvilket gjorde Polen til et officielt katolsk land. Denne handling skulle have opr\u00f8rt Satan, som beordrede dj\u00e6vlene til at straffe Poznan. Dj\u00e6vlene trak bakken fra Gniezno (en by i n\u00e6rheden) og havde til hensigt at flytte den til floden Warta for at oversv\u00f8mme Poznan. Dj\u00e6vlene begyndte imidlertid at fejre deres succes for tidligt og v\u00e6kkede hanerne, som v\u00e6kkede byen. De flygtende dj\u00e6vle efterlod klippen p\u00e5 venstre side af floden.
