Du kender sikkert allerede formen p\u00e5 denne bygning, hvis du nogensinde har set artikler, der opfordrer dig til at bes\u00f8ge <a href=\"https:\/\/sumfinity.com\/da\/travelqatar\/\">Qatars<\/a> hovedstad &#8211; Doha. Ikke s\u00e5 m\u00e6rkeligt &#8211; bygningens arkitektur, der kombinerer elementer fra gammel islamisk arkitektur og moderne geometrisk design, afspejler stedets \u00e5nd ganske godt.<\/p><p>Som mange andre sev\u00e6rdigheder i Doha er Museum of Islamic Art en ret moderne konstruktion. Museet i Doha \u00e5bnede f\u00f8rst d\u00f8rene for offentligheden i december 2008. Hvis vi ikke vidste det, ville vi nok tro, at MIA st\u00e5r p\u00e5 Corniche-kysten i mindst et par \u00e5rtier endnu. Selvom selve museet ser nyt og velholdt ud, skjuler de traditionelle islamiske elementer m\u00e5ske monumentets sande alder.   <\/p><p>Arkitekten for Museum of Islamic Art blev hyret til dette projekt, da han allerede var pensioneret. Faktisk var I.M. Pei 91 \u00e5r gammel p\u00e5 det tidspunkt. Efter at have p\u00e5begyndt designet af denne struktur, begyndte han at rejse i 6 m\u00e5neder i de arabiske lande. I denne periode fordybede han sig i islamisk historie og tekster for at finde inspiration til sit arbejde. Ibn Tulun-moskeen i Cairo, som kan dateres tilbage til det 9. \u00e5rhundrede, havde derfor den st\u00f8rste indflydelse p\u00e5 MIA&#8217;s endelige arkitektur.    <\/p><p>Museet for islamisk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mia.org.qa\/en\/about\/the-museum-building\">kunst ligger p\u00e5 en kunstig \u00f8 t\u00e6t p\u00e5 Qatars traditionelle &#8220;dhow&#8221;-havn<\/a>. Desv\u00e6rre fik vi ikke bes\u00f8gt selve museet under vores ophold i Doha, men vi fik beundret dets arkitektur fra havnefronten p\u00e5 forskellige tidspunkter af dagen og natten.<\/p><h3>Om billedet<\/h3><p><em>&#8220;De fleste billeder, du finder, er taget mod indgangen.
