The Bode Museum on the Museum Island in Berlin is in my opinion one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Whenever I’m there it fascinates me, especially at night when the lights of the windows shine bright in the darkness. The round front makes it unique and well worth seeing again and again.
Even though the Museum Island in Berlin was heavily affected by the war, the Bode Museum withstood it relatively good. That’s why you can already now admire it in all its beauty while the rest of the island will still be under construction for years to come.
